We give thanks to the Lord for our newest members, received on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Please join us in welcoming the Barnat, Cox, Krisco, Page, Sullivan, and Thompson households to St. Matthew!

On Sunday, September 28, we will have a Fall Picnic immediately after the service. Grilled hamburgers and hotdogs will be served. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a side dish to share. A sign up sheet for food and drink contributions will be provided soon. We'll also be blessed to welcome several new members in the 10am service on that date. Please mark the 28th on your calendars and come celebrate with us!

On Saturday, September 27, Camp Trinity, the Lutheran Camp on Petit Jean Mountain, will host a free "Music on the Mountain" event. Donations are appreciated as this is a fundraiser for the camp. Barbeque lunch plates will also be available, beginning at 11am. Music will begin at 11am and will continue until late afternoon. A variety of musical genres will be featured. St. Matthew is currently collecting canned and dried foods as well as gluten free items for the Bear Pantry at UCA. The Bear Pantry serves both students and staff of the university who need food assistance. A donation box is available in the Fellowship Hall at church. On Saturday, September 20, Grace Lutheran in Little Rock (5124 Hillcrest St.) will be hosting a FREE EVENT for our LCMS Mid-South District called a "3L Summit" (Living Your Faith, Loving God's People, & Learning to Disciple). This will be held from 8:30am-3:45pm. Lunch will be included for all attendees. St. Matthew members are welcomed and encouraged to participate. For more information and to register, please click here.
