One of our sister congregations, Grace Lutheran in Little Rock, invites you to their annual hymn festival. It will be held on Sat, Oct. 12, 2024. The presenter will be Rev. On Sundays, Sept. 1, 8, & 15, we'll have a short-term Bible study discussing the Christian theology of suffering and also comparing it to other religious and philosophical responses to suffering. Dr. Ken Barnes will facilitate this study. Join us each Sunday at 9:00am in the church sanctuary.
Beginnig on Sunday, Sept. 22, Pastor Kory will begin a new study on the Augsburg Confession, which is part of the Lutheran Confessions. Don't know what the Augsburg Confession is? Then this study is especially for you! Come and learn how the first generation of Lutheran Christians proclaimed their faith even in the face of life-threatening opposition.
Wednesday Bible study is currently "on break." Please save the date for Weds, Oct. 2 at 10am when we'll resume Bible study. Our next topic will be the two great teachings of the Bible: God's Law and Gospel.Â
Both men and women of all ages are welcome to join us for either our Bible studies!Â
