Rev. Kory Janneke has served as St. Matthew's pastor since May of 2022. Pastor Kory has served in full-time pastoral ministry since 2012. He previously served congregations in South Dakota and Wisconsin. Originally from Southern Illinois, Pastor Kory is a graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin and Concordia Seminary St. Louis. He and his wife, Heidi (a Central Arkansas native), have six young children. In his down time, Pastor Kory enjoys spending time with his family, bicycling, hiking, and exploring Arkansas.Â
Pastor Kory's favorite Bible passage (and Confirmation Verse) is Psalm 23:4, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."Â
