In worship, we focus on Jesus Christ, first receiving the gifts of His Word and Holy Communion and also responding to Him through prayer and praise and thanksgiving. Â As a congregation of Lutheran Christians, we generally follow a traditional order of worship and sing many familiar Christian hymns, both "old and new." The hymns and liturgy for each service are printed out for you to easily follow. We celebrate Holy Communion in every Sunday service. For additional information about our Lutheran faith and our Communion practice, please visit our Beliefs page.Â
Children are always welcome in worship! Sunday services include a children's message. A nursery and baby changing station are available just down the hall from the sanctuary.
Parking is available in St. Matthew's lot on the south side of the building. If needed, overflow parking is also available at the dental offices just north of St. Matthew (on the corner of Farris Rd. and Prince St). Â Â
St. Matthew is a member congregation of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, a church body of approximately 5,800 congregations which is headquartered in St. Louis, MO.Â
