Current Bible Study Opportunities

Please join us as we grow in God's Word on both Sunday and Wednesday mornings at St. Matthew. Men and women of all ages, both members and guests, are invited to join with us in studying Scripture.

Our current 9:00 AM SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY is focusing on the Augsburg Confession, a foundational statement of the Lutheran faith which was composed in 1530 in Augsburg, Germany. This study is focusing on basic Christian doctrine and will continue through the end of 2024. Join us weekly in the church sanctuary.

Beginning in 2025, we will embark on a long-term study of St. John's writings in the New Testament - his Gospel, letters, and the book of Revelation.

Our current 10:00am WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY is exploring the topic of spiritual gifts in the New Testament. This study will also include a discussion of personalities, both in the Bible and among us in the Church.

Wednesday Bible study for this year on December 11, 2024. We will resume in the New Year on January 8, 2025 as we begin a long-term overview class of all the books of the Bible, beginning with Genesis. Each week, we will profile one book from the Bible and learn more about its composition and message. Please join us each Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God" (Colossians 3:16).
