May 14 - New Member Welcome

Please join us on Sunday, May 14, 2023 as we welcome several new members to St. Matthew as part of our 10:00am worship service. Following the service, we will share refreshments and conversation in the Fellowship Hall. We hope to see you on the 14th as we give thanks for all the mothers and ladies in our midst and bid a warm welcome to these new members.

Supporting the UCA Bear Food Pantry

Below is a full list of food items that can be donated to the Bear Pantry at any time. (Please remember to purchase canned goods with pull tops.) Items Needed: Peanut Butter/Jelly, Tuna/Canned Meat, Ravioli, Ready to Eat Soup, Cereal Bars/Pop Tarts/Honey Buns, Instant Oats, Protein Bars, Canned Fruit/Applesauce, Ramen Noodles, Knorr’s Quick Rice, Mac and Cheese, Pasta/Sauce, Crackers, & Bread. If you'd like to drop off your donations at church, you can place them in the box marked for the Bear Pantry in the church Fellowship Hall. Thank you!

Instant Church Directory - Coming Soon

We will soon be developing a new church pictorial directory using Instant Church Directory online. This will be available to our members in three forms: over the internet, as a smartphone app, and in printable form. At this point, you can assist by submitting a recent photo of your household (either digital or hard copy) to be included in your directory entry.

St. Matthew's 25th Anniversary Celebration

Sun, May 21, 2023 has been set apart to mark the 25th Anniversary of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Join us for a Service of Thanksgiving at 10:00am to be followed by a meal and short program to remember St. Matthew's beginnings and memories through the years, even as we look ahead to what God has in store for the next 25 years! The theme for the day will be "The Church's One Foundation Is Jesus Christ Her Lord." We hope you will make plans to be part of this special occasion!

Trivia Night for Camp Trinity

Trivia Night for Camp Trinity: This annual fundraiser for Camp Trinity will be held on Saturday, April 29 at Christ Lutheran in Little Rock. Teams of up to eight people will engage in some spirited but friendly competition for various prizes. The night also includes a silent auction. Concessions will be served. There will be contests for the best table decorations, best costumes and most clever team name. Doors open at 4:30, with rules and announcements at 5:45. Come join the fun!
