The Sermon for Sun, Dec. 15 was based on Philippians 4:4-7:"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

The Sermon for Weds, Dec. 11 was based on the 5th verse of "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" (pictured above) along with God's Word in Revelation 3:7-13, Matthew 16:15-19, and John 20:19-23.
This is the historic "Antiphon" which is the basis of v. 5 of the hymn: "O Key of David and scepter of the house of Israel, You open and no one can close, You close and no on can open: Come and rescue the prisoners who are in darkness and the shadow of death."
