Midweek Service - August 17

St. Matthew will host a midweek service of Evening Prayer on Wednesday, August 17 at 6:30pm. Rev. Dr. LeRoy Leach, Interim Pastor at Peace Lutheran, will serve as the preacher. The service will include a combined choir anthem by the St. Matthew and Peace choirs and will be followed by a fellowship time including a dessert and fruit luau. Please plan to join us for this special service on the 17th!

Hymn Service - July 31

"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into His presence with singing! ... Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name!" (Psalm 100:1-2, 4) That is a portion of the Psalm of the Day for July 31, 2022. St. Matthew's service on Sunday, July 31 will be a unique hymn service with portions of the service sung to the tune of beloved Christian hymns. Please join us as we come before the Lord with praise and thanksgiving!

Combined Services with Peace Lutheran

St. Matthew Lutheran Church and Peace Lutheran Church will have two combined services this summer. We will have a Vespers service at 6:30 PM on Weds, July 20 at Peace (800 S. Donaghey Ave). We will also have an Evening Prayer service at St. Matthew on Weds, August 17, also at 6:30 PM. Please join us for these opportunities to join together for worship, prayer, and fellowship between our congregations!

Hope of Heaven Bible Study

We will begin a new summer Bible study on Sunday, July 11, 2022 on the hope of Heaven. This study will explore the Bible's teaching about eternal life and the resurrection of the dead as well as delving into our questions about Heaven. This study will continue for several weeks to come. Please join us each week at 9:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall at St. Matthew.

Father's Day 2022

Men of St. Matthew: Please plan to join us in God’s house on Sunday, June 19 as we celebrate Father’s Day and give thanks for all the men of faith in our lives. A blessed Father’s Day to all of the fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and men of our congregation! Thank you for all that you do for your families and our church family.
